Since we believe the Bible presents the gospel in a positive, loving way, we are committed to do the same as honestly as possible. We are convinced the Christian walk centers on proper, loving relationships - a right relationship with God, self and others. Right relationships bring a happy, fulfilled, fruitful life.
As pastor, I see myself as just one part of the congregation with God given spiritual gifts that enable me to do my part in building the body of Christ. Others have their gifts to work toward the same goal. That is why I use "we" and "us" more than "I" and "me." "...in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us." (Romans 12: 5,6 ) As we each do our best to worship God, see ourselves rightly, and serve others diligently, using our gifts in love, God will be honored and the Church of Christ will be strengthened and will grow in numbers. Again, we invite you to join us in this joyful, fulfilling effort.
